PMU After-care
Congrats on your new brows! Here are some things you should expect during your healing process:

-
Please know permanent makeup services are a two-step process. Please be patient during the 10-day healing period. It's important to note that full pigment retention may not be achieved after the first session.
-
Post service, the treatment area will appear more vivid and dark immediately after your procedure. This can last up to two weeks.
-
Days 4-5: Expect gentle flaking in some areas. Do not pick at the skin to avoid scarring. Continue applying aftercare ointment.
-
Post-Flaking: The brow strokes and pigmentation may appear lighter initially. As the skin fully heals (3-4 weeks), the color will become more vibrant.
-
Itching: Some itching may occur during the healing process. For Lip Blushing clients, avoid spicy or acidic foods for a few days.
-
Pigment Retention: Individual results may vary. Mature skin and oily skin types may experience slightly less defined results compared to dry skin or younger skin.

Initial Cleansing: 30 minutes and 2 hours post-procedure, gently blot the brows with an antiseptic wipe or ink soap rinse to remove excess lymph and plasma fluid. This prevents scabbing and ensures smooth healing.

Daily Aftercare Routine: Morning and night

-
Cleanse the brows with a cotton pad and 1-2 pumps of ink soap foam rinse. Gently pat the area, including under natural brow hairs.
-
Moisturize: Apply a pea-sized amount of ointment to each brow using a Q-tip or clean fingers. Avoid a glossy finish; blot off excess if necessary
-
Use your spoolie in your goodie bag to brush your brow hair back gently. Please wash or dispose of your spoolie after every use.

Notes:
-
Avoid going to the gym or excessively sweating for the first couple of days after your appointment.
-
Wash your hands before you clean your brows.
-
Don't pick or scratch your brows.
